There are no mistakes.. just issues that haven't been correctly resolved by both parties. If your going to bring up something have a good explanation or solution and you'll be looked at better than just lying and hiding it.

I work in a hospital mainly as an intern. I make mistakes all the time. None are life threatening. But when i make a mistake, I need to let my supervisor know immediately as a precaution.
I don't know if I should have admitted it, but I did...it felt like I was burying my head in the sand...tucking my tail between my legs...
I felt like an ass...
But, passing the buck makes me feel like an even bigger one.
Yes. Everyone makes mistakes. I have a whole lot more respect for someone who makes a mistake and tries to fix it rather than someone who tries to hide it or deny it.
I do but in the context of asking for guidelines so as not to again.
