Help answer this question below.

I want to make a dress for my sister as a surprise. How do I make a dress? I need to know measurements,how to sew it properly, and how much of each fabric I should use. Should I use an inch more from the regular measurement. Please no videos.

    If you have to ask these basic questions, she will certainaly be surprised!
    .
    Sewing a dress or other garment so that it looks good is not easy.
    .
    I would suggest something that you are more proficient at to make a gift and, if you are interested, finding out what courses are available to learn to sew.
