Try a rest I had the same problem but I don't think the rest did anything I got it to come back by randomly taping sliding my fingers on the screen where it used to be lol
Should I jailbreak my ipod touch 2g 8GB or not? Advantages and disadvantages of jailbreakin? If you've jailbroken you're experiences?

You're reading The repeat and shuffle button disappeared in the top corners of my ipod touch. It also only plays songs on shuffle. I wiped everything out and reloaded everything, but the buttons still aren't there. What's the deal?
