1. there are multipule ways first set your t.v. to AUX, video 1, video 2, T.V. A.V. you know the big blue screen now insert the red white and yellow cord into the T.V. but first the yellow insert must say VIDEO IN if it says VIDEO OUT you are S.O.L. these colored inserts can be found mostly for 2000 and up T.V.'s in point blank range. if not look in the back of the T.V. there should be six (2 for each color) red white and yellow inserts look for VIDEO IN the red is optionable that just allows both speakers on your T.V. to work. but if you can not find these colored inserts on your T.V. get a cord connection from the (VCR, or the DVD player). the cord should be pretty fat and just as long as the average man's arm. in the end of each side, it has a circular (more likely in the shape of octigan or a hexigan i think) regadless in the dead center of the circular metal thing is a very fragil tiny metal pin(the like a needle but a little smaller). this should connect the VCR, DVD player to the back of your T.V. there you will find the red white and yellow insert holes in the back of your DVD or VCR. like i said look for VIDEO IN.
2. once the options i gave you is done try hitting the playstation button on your controler.
3. if the power cord has failed perhaps the receptical (outlet) in your wall has failed. so try getting a multy outlet cord to use up the for the connection for your T.V.
4. if the playstation button is not turning it on just don't be lazy and charge it up and press turn the red light on the PS3 green manualy. this can be very ardous common sense dude or dudet. good luck

my slim ps3 wont pull disc in,can i link my fat ps3 to it as a external hard drive(slim one fell but has larger hard drive)

My Playstation disc drive will not work. There is nothing in the disc drive and when I try to put a disc in, It will not grap the disc.

You're reading Ps3 does not turn on at all, i bought a new power cord and even switched it to different outletswith no luck. can someone help?
