I used some clippings from my lawn to start a fire in my firepit. The smoke smelled like marijuana. Is there pot in my lawn, or is there another plant that smells the same?

They have a similar smell when they burn - it's one of the reasons for one of marijuana's nicknames - grass.

Several plants smell like that. If you had marijuana in your lawn I suspect you would have noticed because it is pretty fast growing and visually distinctive.

I doubt there is, its just the way the grass smells that you burnt.
