In the early part of the last century the US Army tried training cavalrymen to ride camels in combat. I know the project was abandoned. But whatever happened to all those camels?

    I would think they would be all died off by now. Did you know this was one of George S. Patton's first assignments after he nearly flunked out of West Point?
