Stay busy!! My fiance has been deployed for 11 months now. Best advise I can give is keep your comunication strong. This is only the begaining for you girl, 1 month is nothing. No worries, just stay busy and stay strong. It'll fly by.

Write lots because he will appreciate always getting mail. Some places even have e-mail access. Fun little gifts are also things to look forward to. He will be extremely busy. So you might think of all of the things you have to do too. Be strong. +5

Well, it is 1 month and you might as well get used to it. After that comes Iraq and whatever other mission that may come up. What I do is stay busy. When my fiance went to Iraq or missions, I do a lot with family. I went places that I enjoy, especially calming places. He will be able to call you some during this time, so hearing his voice will help a lot. This time will fly by. The first week away is the hardest.
