  • I'd use Mrs. Jane Doe, unless she expressed a preference for Ms.
  • Unless she indicates otherwise, I always use Ms. I see no reason to change the way I address a person based upon her marital status. (I say her, because there is no equivalent to Mrs. or Miss for men in the English language. The equivalent of Mr. is Ms. - used regardless of marital status.)
  • I always thought Ms referred to as an unmarried woman & Mrs was married Miss was a young woman
