  • No, not to speak of (if there are any at all). The Amish separated from the Swiss Mennonites in the 1500s and remained in Europe. In the 1700s some came to America. They do not marry outsiders.
  • It's a lifestyle choice same as Christianity so anyone can become one assuming they follow the rules. That doesn't mean they'll be accepted by others tho. ...and yes, I have met a black family that was also Amish. This was the answer I got when I had that "is that possible?' face.

  • Yes, there are. Amish communities exist in both Kenya and the Congo. Most of their members are native Africans converted by Amish missionaries. There are also a few African-American Amish.
