I'm not sure what you're asking. How to edit them at all, or how to edit them with something in particular, or how to edit something in them in particular with something you already have? You could use a program life Photoshop (not free) or Gimp (free) for common and more advanced editing. Most cameras come with software able to perform basic tasks, too, if it's a picture you've taken. There are also a myriad of small programs (mostly shareware, though some purely free and some not) floating around on the internet for specific tasks. I suggest Googling "<program> <problem/task>" (like "photoshop red eye" or "gimp cropping") for some help. Good luck!
