They'd better have breast size limitations - there ain't much room on those and people tend to pass in each other face to face - and it's a tight squeeze.

There is a saying amongst submariners: 100 folks go down on a mission, 50 couples come back up.
Be prepared for pregnancy issues.
If a woman is trained as a submariner she will do the job just as well as a man.
Don't decrease the inefficiency of the subs just so that someone can say they're now gender equal. There's nothing wrong with not having women on the boats. It's not a discrimination thing, it's a lack of space thing.
I hope it doesn't have bad complications like too many unintended pregnancies. I think submarine duty would be an ideal situation for women who are usually smaller in stature than men. In the cramped quarters, a woman's size could be an asset.
