    Lying about your education and/or skills and capabilities can only lead to problems, and in the worst case scenario, termination. If my education and skills are not suitable or appropriate for a position, I won't apply for it.

    No. lying on a resume will bite you in the butt, each and every time.

    If an employer decides to check your resume information and discovers a lie, your job is down the tubes.

    Telling a lie will cause you more heartbreak, especially if you are hired, based on your resume, and then the truth is discovered.
