    The only definite answer I can give is: maybe.

    Am I alone with the stranger? Or is it a group? Am I with anyone else I know? We talking cruise, or like, we both won a vacation somewhere?

    Not just me and some guy/gal, at random, no thanks. Any of the above permutations... and maybe.

    no. i mean, what would i know about this stranger & where he's taking me. for all i know, he's some crazy dude with a fake name & a crazy criminal record. it'd be incredibly stupid to trust someone you didn't know JUST LIKE THAT.

    Unless you vacation on a deserted/privet island there are strangers everywhere including on your vacation.
    So, why not? Worse come to worse You just ditch the schmuck and go have fun on your own.
