Well, the Bible says that there will be no sin in Heaven, as nothing impure can enter Heaven (Revelations).

Logically, though, one must assume that you can sin in Heaven. Otherwise, Jehovah/Yahweh/Allah will have spent a lot of time and effort protecting free-will only to take it away. That doesn't make sense (not that much attributed to Jehovah/Yahweh/Allah does make sense). Further, the Bible states that Satan/The Devil rebelled in Heaven. Thus, we know that it CAN be done.

The other explanation for the lack of sin in Heaven is that everyone there will be purified and sin will be removed. Therefore, even though these people have free will, they will not excercise it because they have achieved perfection and perfect understanding.

Sure you can. While in heaven (though I have a different view of who actually go there) you still have free will. The fact that Satan and his demons were cast out of heaven means that no sin or rebellion will be tolerated in heaven. Therefore one who willfully sins while in heaven loses the privelege. A person in heaven will be perfect therefore the likelihood is greatly reduced though not completely eliminated.

Satan has thus been allowed to try and prove that life without God is better than life with him and has been unsuccessful. Therefore after his destruction, any future rebellious inhabitants of heaven will not need to be given a chance to prove the same statement as it will already have been proved wrong, and will therefore warrant immediate destruction. Currently (until Satan is destroyed) any rebellious ones in heaven are cast down to reside with Satan and his demons.

You can't sin in heaven. I think Lucifer was the LAST person to sin in heaven, now he's in hell!

We will be as Jesus was on earth-perfect and without sin. Only those who have chosen to be in Heaven will be in Heaven (some who chose might not be-but that's another question.)

I'm sure we will all still have free will, but there wouldn't be any Satan to tempt us and therefore no sin. It will be a 'no sin' area. I can't wait!!!!

    Great question.

    God Bless,
    <:))))<><

Edit: My personal reasoning is that the only reason we have sin on earth is because Satan tempted Eve, who then tempted Adam, and Satan has been successful in using free will to his own evil ways ever since. I feel that in Heaven we will still have free will to do as we please-but Satan will NOT be there to tempt us into doing evil. In other words all of our choices will be with God's blessing, so that no matter what choice you make, it will be correct. I don't believe He wants us to be mindless zombies when in Heaven. It just does not make sense to give us free will while on earth and then make us robots when near Him. Like I said to begin with-My OWN personal opinion, I am not trying to persuade anyone. Just answering the question/comment. <:))))<><

Ephesians 5:5 says, "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."

What is the difference bettween being clean and unclean. An unclean person is one who has not repented of his or her sins and is still living in sin. A clean person has purified himself by repenting of his or her sins. Therefore, since only clean people will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, nobody in Heaven will sin.

The sin Satan committed was while he was on the earth in the Garden of Eden, not in Heaven, he lost his place in Heaven, it doesn't mean the sin occurred in Heaven. No one can sin in Heaven, as no sin can come near God, and as God is everywhere in Heaven it is impossible for anyone to sin in Heaven. It is a place of peace and rest, if sin could occur, how could it be peaceful. The Bible states there was a war in Heaven, and Satan was thrown out. But the sin occurred on the earth.

I think Ephesians 2:1-10 answers this pretty well. Consider also that Satan was cast out of heaven but allowed to roam the Earth (Job 1:7).
Because Satan roams the earth and we are given free will, we have the choice to choose to 'sin' (that is, choose to follow Satan) or to follow God's will.

While we may still have free will in heaven Satan can no longer compete for our choice. This is somewhat like Henry Ford's exclamation regarding the color choices available for the Model T, "You can have any color you want as long as it's black!"

Don't be stupid people. God will never remove the free choice of accepting Him, following him and loving him. It is easy. Sin will not exist in heaven because the definition of SIN began with Satan, when he fell from grace with God. Adam and Eve were given free choice and chose to be tempted by Satan's lures. There is no sin in Heaven. God through His Son, Jesus Christ has removed all of our Sin (on earth) through His sacrifice on the cross. Yes you will have free will in heaven. Yes, you will be able to choose eternity in heaven with our incredible creator and YES, you will still be able to choose not to spend eternity with God. Yes, you will be able to live in the eternal body/spirit He gives you. The proof for any other choice is simplistic, not a good choice. God has proven that the choice of peace, love and sanctity with him is a wonderful and incredible choice. He has proven what sin does to those we see every day. No, there will be no sin in Heaven. There will be decisions which we have the opportunity to make. Since there will be NO TEMPTATION, because satan will not exist anymore, we will be free to do what God created us to do, love Him and love others and live in peaceful, exciting existence! Understand this... Any decision that you could possible make in heaven to end your existence in Heaven will not occur there. God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Heaven is His Kingdom. He has the power to know everything you think. As a Holy Spirit in Heaven, you will be His loving servent and will have His blessing. He will always know what you think and will always know what you are "about to do". If you should decide to "sin", your decision to fail Him will be moved outside of Heaven. There will be no SIN in heaven. Who do you think God is????????????? He is GOD. A loving God.
