  • For those who don't follow the link, Bob McCue is a former Mormon who served as Bishop for 5 years before leaving the Church. I want to clarify this point because as used, former could refer to Bishop (eg. he was released as Bishop but continued being faithful in the Church) or Mormon (he left Mormonism). The accusation raised by Bob McCue goes too far, and your conclusion is based on faulty logic. D&C 1:30 states that the Church is true, but the members are still human. Even Prophets are subject to humanity. Jonah ran from his mission call to preach in Nineveh. Moses truck a rock instead of just touching it. Elisha had a she-bear attack people for calling him bald. Focusing on accusations against Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, and the other Prophets cannot provide any positive outcome. But, just because they have faults does not mean the Church is not true.
