• I've read that, and I've also read that 105 billion people have lived. That latter number seems *awfully* high, since human population was < 1 bil until 1810 or 1870 or something... but maybe if you add up a whole bunch of people dying at age 35 for the last several hundreds of thousands of years...?

• I once read that we'd need at least 2 trillion seperate individuals just to trace our own personal lineage to that of the Romans. Now, not entirely sure there's even been one trillion people to grace this earth, but guess that just goes to show you how much inbreeding there has been. lol *kinda off subject, I know*

• LeopardGecko, you know that not untill the 1900s did the population hit 1 billion. There have been a lot of people born but not many live long

• The question was how many people have ever lived. If you go back to the beginning of man kind,I'm sure there's been more than 8 billion.

• hmm... ok well looks like i am going to go research this myself. I could have sworn that it would not be that high. What are you considering lived? Are you counting babies that die in childbirth and during early adolesence?

• If you consider those babies that die that young then i can see how it would be that high. I was thinking more on the lines of making it to age of adulthold, but once you account for those that die young the number of people born would sky rocket.
