Do you carry a knife with you? I carry a Leatherman Multipurpose Tool that has a knife. Does that mean that I am an armed person?

No, I would say that means you are a prepared person. I have a 3 1/2 inch blade buck knife with me at all times as well as a Leatherman, key chain light and a carbiner. Two knives when diving and shears.

No I don't and I don't think so... I was watching COPS the other night and this suspect admitted he was carrying a knife and was done for consealing a weapon because it was consealed in his jeans, therfore, as long as you have your leatherman in a viewable place (e.g. in carry case on belt). Mind you I was watching TV, so I'm probably wrong. Then again Leatherman's are a multi-purpose tool and most likely not classified as a dangerous weapon. I'd sasy it would be different if you had an 8" hunting knife!
