2004 GMC Envoy How to replace the Rear heater core
Your profile doesn't say where you live, but the best Idea would be to go to advanced auto and look in a Haynes manual (they will let you).
Aside from that access to the rear heater core 95% of the time will be interior driver side all the way back.
You will have to remove the plastic interior wall panels and pull back a little carpeting.
Once you get it exposed, there should only be 2 hose clamps and 3 or 4 screws. lift out. Reverse process.

I've seen one SUV that had to have the rear seat removed first.
