My two cats never have milk and only drink water.
I don't have a definite answer, but I'm quite certain there is such a thing as a cat having too much milk.
However, if you check your pet food aisle at the supermarket, they might have a milk product which is specifically for cats (I know you can get it here) that tells you how much to give them. It comes in a little juice box type container.
My experience with cats is that they will not overeat. I always gave my cats milk from time to time. If I was out of cat food I would pour milk over small pieces of bread.
