Five six pick up sticks
Seven eight lay them straight
Nine ten a/the big fat hen

I'm with you on this one - I'd always understood it to be either "shut" or "close"
Shut is correct.
But...it's just a baby-shower game...let it go...hehe

You're reading 1-2 Buckle my shoe. 3-4 ________ the door. I put "shut" and they said it was wrong (I was at a baby shower. it was a game) Anyway, they said it was "3-4 knock at the door". What do you say it is?
