I love them. I make several jars full of them a year....with Jalapeno or Habanero to add a little zest to them. Sometimes I even add beats to it for the cool look and added flavor.

I used to love them when I was a child but then when I was pregnant - I craved them so much that I could easily eat 5-6 every day.
Sadly now the very thought of them makes me feel ill.
I water bathed green beans last night. Then read about botulism. Are they safe to eat right away?

If you properly home-can tomatoes, will they last longer in the fridge? basement? or no difference?

Can all vegetables, normally able to be be canned, be canned using the bath water method as long as it's pickled?
