I don't think the far-right wants that, really. At least, not the "smart" ones. Shit like this just makes them look worse. Still, I don't think much better could be expected from a place that is mostly populated by mountain folk.

To be fair Jim, we don't know who killed him or why, that being said, When you have people like Beck and Hannity drumming up their scare tactics about ACORN and Michele Bachman telling people ACORN is coming to your house to do the census and they will get all kinds of person information about you and use it against you somehow, it makes you wonder. It will be interesting to see where this leads.

To people like Pelosi, "right-wing hate speech" is any speech that disagrees with her agenda. Is this sort of violence what the "far-right" wants? Probably. However, to try to equate all of those of us who disagree with the policies being promote by the Democrat leadership of this country with those that are responsible for this violence is no more reasonable than trying to equate all left-wingers with violent radical like the members of the such groups as the Weather Underground.

A moron can see that 21 years of incessant 24/7 hate speech on national talk radio and, in the last 15 years, TV, will inevitably produce a Krystal Nacht. The repeal of the Fairness Doctrine in 1988 unleashed uncontested extreme right wing opinion that gave voice and solace to the lunatic fringe, our Sturmabteilung. A country built upon the ideals of the Enlightenment, liberalism and tolerance has had it's history and traditions so defamed, reviled and revised by these hosts of iniquity that these same characteristics are now considered perversions of political thought by a considerable sector of our population who are now rendered incapable of rational discourse. What is left to them, but violence when they thoroughly believe that the opposition is worthless, Godless scum out to destroy the country? This is not new in history. The German people between 1925 and 1945 were unilaterally bombarded with precisely the same type of black propaganda. Just substitute the word "Jew" with the word "liberal" as it is hissed through the microphones of this nation and you have it.

Here is what I think. "They" are totally incapable of seeing connections between cause and effect. They cannot predict the consequences of their actions. That would take actual thinking and they have no time to think..they only have time to act/react. Therefore any such consequence they will find a way to disavow. Since nothing is ever their fault, why should this be any different? :(

Really, if someone opposed her political policy then she calls that hate speech. Pretty lame I'd say. Why does Nancy Pelosi think people hate what she is doing? Did anyone ask her that question or did we simply take her word for it. What is she doing which provokes such hate from those who oppose her? I really think it's more a matter of fear on her part rather than hate on the part of those who are opposed to her policies. If what you are doing is so nefarious that a very large portion of the people cannot accept it, the best plan of action is to get everyone else stirred against those who oppose the plan, for the most part that seems to work on small minds. I'm not buying it.

Americans have a long tradition of dieing for the liberty of themselves and others. The real lesson here is that Pelosi and crowd are trampling those freedoms and are fearful that people will begin to fight back. Just imagine if they got as upset about every illegal immigrant crime, etc. as they did about the FED scribbler? I think we should be just as upset about those crimes and that should translate into actions.
