Help answer this question below.
McDonald's has never sold hot dogs in the US.
According to their web site Ray Kroch thought that they were filthy and would not allow them to be sold. This of course dose not pertain to the first couple of restaurants owned by the McDonald Brothers....!!!
They sold hotdogs in Japan in 2002( and limited ed. in the UK, but they called them 'frankburgers'.
They test martket new items all the time, the prawn burger in Japan is pretty good......
They're just not healthy enough.
Since Der Wiernerschnitzel has pretty much gone out of business, it would be great if McDonald's took over with the same techniques. I'd sure go. +5
Hotdog just dont rime with Ronald? Like burger not with PizzaHut?
Hotdogs are too disgusting for McDonalds, and that's saying something!!
because their reputation starts with burgers~ so y add another thing-- if they are already rich-- with burgers?? :)
Good question. Maybe because it's just not profitable for them. People like burgers better I guess.
Same reason Taco Mayo and Godfather's Pizza do not sell hamburgers. It confuses people...and screws up the system.
