27 bucks to park at the Hancock tower in DT Chicago for a day last weekend is pretty ridiculous.
Organic foods in urban environments are also crazy. I watched a woman in LA this summer fill a small cart with $2 an ear organic corn.
Low organic crop yield + high organic agricultural costs + Demand from big cities who have little or no farmland nearby = Ridiculously high urban food costs.
Eating out at a restraunts instead of eating at home.
City income tax.
