• No, I was born in a maternity hospital :P
  Yes ~ born and raised in New Zealand. Always lived in Auckland, but could settle quite easily into Christchurch in the South Island.

• could you buy property there for your retirement home? a duplex, rent out oneside for income. there are a lot of out of country investors in this coastal community.

• I dont see why not (depending on immigrant laws of course) ~ if Shania Twain can buy up half the South Island (ok not half, but a large chunk), then why can't anybody else who want to!
