    Not a trophy ... but I did get a Gold (plated) Medal form the King of Norway.

    (1 of 6 crewman on the winning boat of the 1983 8-Meter (yacht) World Cup.)
    (The skipper/owner got the trophy.)

    Yes, I have. But, what I'm most proud of, (and this is a little weird), is, I won the school spelling bee in 5th grade, over around 75 fifth and sixth graders. But, for the weird part, my oldest daughter did the exact same thing, 30 years later, over about 100 fellow fifth and sixth graders at her elementary school. Just another in a long line of weird oddities in my family.

    Yes. I've also worked in a shop where we put the trophies together - pieces parts all over, then screwed together and labeled.

    The strangest trophy I have ever received was for winning an arm wrestling contest. I was a bartender working where a group was holding the contest and they needed a female contestant to round out the female lineup from two to three. I also worked part-time at UPS so my arms were buff then and I was able to defeat the other women involved. The trophy was about three feet high with four columns and a statue of arms interlocking at the top. Makes me smile thinking of it--not sure where it ended up. I think the bar kept it.

    I've won minor league baseball trophys until I got horrible and quit when I was 13 with a .078 average. I didn't know I had poor eyesight at the time.
    In High School I won first place for the intramural bowling league as well as in racketball.
    I've been toting this AB cyber-trophy for the last 3 weeks in a row.
    I don't think I won it.
    It's the reward for who's the biggest loser with the most free time on their hands since I qualify in both aspects.

    Yes. Would you like to know what it was for? You would probably be interested to know, as it involves what is today known as Ultimate Fighting or Mixed Martial Arts. The thing about it, that is unbelievable to those not at the top levels of the sporting scene, is that I first introduced mixed martial arts to North America back in 1971. Can you guess who I am? Of course not. All are in denial, ostriches hiding from the truth.
