Many Adult sites ask you for your credit card info only to verify that it is valid and state it will not be charged, before you can become a free member. Is this bogus?

    I would be very suspicious myself. They probably want to rope you in for a trial period. If they end up charging your card, you will have a hell of a lot of explaining to do to your wife.

    Yes it is bogus, there are many legit sites that do not ask for your card.

    Yes. They want to ofer this "free" membership and the membership may be free, however what you became a member to see isn't!!! You only find this out later.

    ALWAYS FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!
