There is a huge pentacoastal vs Catholics fight going on certain parts of Asia.

No, I'd not say that. The crappy thing about the caste system is that it traps people in lower castes for an entire lifetime - dictating what they can and cannot do, or what they can or cannot be, or who they can or cannot mix with/love/marry etc. Simply being born into the lowest caste means you can be violated and exploited by higher castes with impunity - no real law against it. That is infinitely worse than a bunch of penties feuding with the catholics...

They don't hate each other and they don't fight all the time. Disagreeing and even arguing isn't hating or fighting. Now in America - at least in much of the 19th and 20th Centuries - the denominations were divided not so much by theology as social class. The Catholic and Orthodox churches were ethnic ghettos, and the Protestant mainlines were schools for social mobility: one moved up from the Baptists to the Methodists to the Congregationalists to the Lutherans and Presbyterians to the Episcopalians as one climbed the social ladder. As such, they represented the very antithesis of the Caste System.
