  • Cats hate citrus smells. Put some orange or grapefruit peels around the area. You can also spray the area with any kind of citrus smelling room deodorizer for added insurance. You may have to change the peels once they become dried out and the cat is still lurking. Things like pepper and other spices get on the cats paws, then into their eyes. It can be very harmful leading to vet bills. Please do not use moth balls. They are poisonous for cats and bleach is a pheromone. All bleach will do is encourage the cat to come back over and over because the bleach is very similar to their sex hormonal smell and will act as a stimulant. If you want verification of that here is one article: http://www.dr-dan.com/caturine.htm and something about moth balls: http://allaboutdogsandcats.com/blog/2009/04/04/pet-poison-alert-mothballs/
  • A Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun works real good.
