  • I think its a catch 22, we dont want to harm animals but dont want to harm ourselves when using these chemicals. So who do we test?
  • Medical testing, absolutely. Cosmetic testing is a LOT harder to justify.
  • Well i think that both of these are cruel and very unfair to animals... but animal testing for medical research is just necessary i suppose. as for cosmetic testing.. well i think that it is horribly unfair... an animal has to suffer so we can do our nails... thats saying something about the human race.
  • medical..I don't like to think about it but I guess it's sometimes necessary cosmetic...that is just wrong...terribly wrong

  • I can agree with the medical testing for drugs and techniques because it would be too risky to use humans. And don't for get they use them for reseach on drugs and medical procedures for animals as well. So While i may not like it it does have a justification. I can't, however, justify disection in the high school biolab. Just a waste of bothan animal and tax payers' money. As for the cosmetic testing. It's so not nessary. We already are aware that the chemicals in nail polish and hair spray and all of that other stuff is toxic and how not to use it. We also know how to make them so they do the job without causing harm to ourselves or our enviorment. To me it's wastefull, cruel and vain to think us looking good is more important then the well being of another creature.
