I love liver. Both beef and chicken.

I almost blew chunks hearing that word.
-
NO. I do not consume mammal based products. I do consume small amounts of bird or fish (only 3 to 5 meals per month, the rest is veggitarian) but I do not consume any type of internal organs, only simple muscle flesh.
-
Yes.. IF it is cooked right. Both chicken and beef livers.
-
I hate liver, but my wife and one of my sons love it, so when they have liver I and my son who doesn't like it have sausages done in the same gravy. The gravy is delicious.
-
I love well prepared liver and onions. Try cooking it with oranges slices. Awesome. A little white wine:-) I always soak it soaked in milk first. That mellows it out and makes it real tender. My favorite is rabbit liver, the most delicate and tender, it's almost like fine pate if you cook it gently. And I love pates, too, especially homemade country pates.

Seasoned, fried and with onions
-
Yes! The reason a lot of people hate liver is probably because when they were little their moms used to overcook it. You're supposed to fry it only until the surface of the liver has grayed and lost it's red color, and no longer, otherwise it turns to rubber. Simply fry some chopped onions in olive oil until it turns glassy, toss in some chopped liver (beef or chicken), and when it's done season with black pepper, Hungarian paprika, salt, and you're done!
-
All the time. I used to hate it, too. The secret is so easy I feel I was deprived all my life. Make sure it's fresh and cook it quickly. No long soak in a skillet.
-
no never
-
I have, dad made it all the time with onions and terriyaki sauce
-
No, never ever. I simply dislike eating liver because I find it very distasteful.

Yes, it's delicious when cooked right

I refuse to eat any body part whose job it is to filter impurities from the system. I think liver is just plain nasty.
-
I like calf liver but the best is venison (deer) liver.
-
Not so much. It was one of my parent's favorites when I was a kid, and we ate it often. I rarely eat it since I left home many years ago.
-
Absolutely, although I don't make it very often at home because it's a messy dish to prepare. I do order it at restaurants every chance I get.
-
Chicken liver only. Soaked in buttermilk, thick-coated in spiced flour, fried with onions in butter with a bit of Wrights Liquid Smoke (Hickory), then onto a sandwich of buttered and fried bread with mayo.
