I found that the best way to make money was to sell fossils (there are always 3 fossils to find every day). Though you can also make a tidy profit from catching and selling scorpions, tarantulas and bees (the ones that chase you, which are hard to get but sell for a lot). Catching fish and bugs does have some reward, but you have to keep at it in order to make lots of money. And foreign fruits (including coconuts) always sell for 500 bells each. The only other thing I can think of is a donation made by a friend (when visiting, they can drop bags of money for you to pick up). It's not really worth selling furniture or clothes, because you never get much for them. It's better to give them away as gifts, because you'll always get something in return. 1. Go onto WiFi, beg someone for some.
2. Go onto WiFi, find a hacker to give you some.
3. Get an Action Replay.
4. Fishing! It makes more than you think.
5. Foreign fruit trees. 500 bells a fruit.
6. Selling fossils works really well, if you want to.
7. The Stalk Market. Buy lots of turnips, and sell them for a higher price. Works better if you have WiFi, though.
