Onion soup mix, eggs, bread crumbs, hp sauce or ketcup...:)

The first couple times I made it I used those seasoning packets from the grocery store but it was just too much for me. I prefer a little garlic, onion, ketchup, egg and I use Ritz crackers for a little sweetness. You could add some green pepper and a little mustard in too. For the top I mix ketchup with some brown sugar and pour it on top for the last few minutes of baking. If your husband really loves meatloaf it may be his mothers meatloaf he likes, maybe you should ask her what she puts in hers. (As long as you are on good terms with her.)

I like to use oatmeal as the filler along with the onions, peppers, etc. Sometimes I add chopped spinach and some Italian seasoning to it and top it with tomato sauce and parmesan.

It's always nice to just make your usual meatloaf recipe but "stuff" it with cheese and mushrooms before you bake it! Makes it so moist and gives it some character!!
-
Just use your standard recipe ... BUT; add a small can of peppers / permintos (sp) .... On the top; before baking it ... add honey/ketsup mixed as a glaze / toping ... and IF you poke holes in the meatloaf ; it will drip into the holes and add flavor .. +5

My aunt adds eggs to make it moist. In a small bowl, ... bell pepper,(green, red)and parsley or coarsely chopped fresh cilantro for color and flavor. Then add chopped up garlic and onions for bursting flavor. You could add BBQ saurce instead of Spaghetti Sauce or even make your own.+5

1-1/2 lbs ground beef 1 egg bread crumbs (I tear up pieces of old bread) 1/2 can of tomato sauce (small can size) 1 onion chopped salt and pepper to taste Combine all ingredients and form into loaf and place in dish. Next mix; 1 whole small can plus remaining 1/2 small can tomatoe sauce white vinegar (I usually don't measure but about 1/2 cup or so) brown sugar to sweeten (sometimes I use table syrup) yellow mustard (around a tablespoon) Worcestershire sauce (a few splashes) After mixed pour over formed loaf in pan to cover completely (if you don't think your sauce will cover the entire loaf you can add a little water before pouring over the loaf) and bake in 350% oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Why not just carry on making it the way he likes it? My wife does this - whenever I say I particularly lke a dish, she starts messing around with the recipe to "improve" it when it is not necessary (or welcome).

I turn them into burgers:D

here is the one I make and after trying different ingredients, this is the one my family likes best and I also use this same recipe when making meatballs. This is my own recipe too 2lbs ground beef, 2 cups crackers finely crushed (or use oatmeal) 2 cups of shredded cheese 2 eggs, beaten mix all together and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion salt, cumin and chili powder place in pan, cook 350 about 45-60 min top with ketchup if you like

Mexican Meatloaf is good, Picante sauce instead of tomato sauce, and tortilla chips to keep it together. Otherwise the normal way you make meatloaf...+5

Do you mean to say there isn't a video connected to this. When I saw the question, saw meatloaf, I thought this should be good and here it is, a real ask for a recipe. Sorry don't know any. LOL
