    Much of it, though I occasionally forget some of the esoteric stuff. I mean, the the Radeon 9800XT is easy, but sometimes I forget *exactly* what sort of onboard ethernet controller I have, or which hard drive is which brand (the two I have are not the same).

    You can always run a simple little program called Belarc Advisor. It will give you a rundown of hardware, software, versions etc. and its free....

    Mostly I remember whats there, since I can see inside case and I built it also but sometimes have to pull the cheat sheet on it because I forget some small detail or I make a change and forget to put on sheet.
    Like just recently put in a new video card GeForce, I be darn now If I remember which one I install....LOL
