What's a fun game for the whole family?

Clue. Someone is always murdered in that game. That was good for my family!

I Spy has been the game of the day at our house, and it doesn't require any materials. My family used to play Yatzee, Life, and a game called Tripoly. If you have younger kids Candyland is fun and Parcheesi can be fun also.

One player holds the deck, the one to his/her right "cuts" The one Who "cut" the deck is suposed to grab a portion of the deck... enough to put 4 cards on the "field" The remaining cards in his hand goes to the bottom of the dealers deck. The holder is the dealer, so he gives each player4cards each from the top. The "cutter" goes first.
your basically supposed to see if you can match any card in your hand to the field. You can also Add. For example, If there's a 2 and a 3 on the field, and you have a 5, you can get both. Each player gets one turn until it goes back to you.when the cards in your hand run out, the dealer deals 4 new ones. (since its in a rotation movement, everyone will have the same number of cards)
Jacks are special because if you have one in your hand, then it has the ability to take all of the cards on the field. (remember, when theres no cards on the feild, you dont put 4 new ones, the next player puts down anything available.)
Points: at the end of the game, your suposed to count how many cards you have, how many clubs you have, see if you have the 10 of diamonds, and if you have the 2 of clubs.
The 2 of Clubs: 2 points
The 10 of Diamonds: 1 point
most cards(total): 1 point
Most Clubs(total including the 2): 1 point
