There already is. It's called the off switch.

If you don't like it turn it off.

No. First of all companies don't pay for these adult product commercials to be shown during shows that children might be viewing simply because they're not reaching their target audience. If your children are seeing these commercials, they probably shouldn't be watching whats on TV anyway.

Secondly, whats so wrong with children knowing what a penis is, alcohol is, that people kill each other. Oh so its "hard to explain". Too bad its your job as a parent!

Alcohol and violence yes, because neither are natural. Erectile dysfunction however is a problem in some people's lives. It's just like seeing an add for flue medicine. Sex is natural, so why hide your kids from it?
But either way, tell them to get off their butts and go outside or something. I remembered I was all over legos 100% more than tv!

Well, since I come from an era when they didn't advertise women's undies, erectile dysfuntion, contraceptives, etc. on tv or radio I am strongly inclined to agree with you. As far as the violent movies, have you seen any of the games or cartoons that these kids play and see?

It has gotten pretty gross, Ed. I think advertisers feel they have an open shot during any prime time hour or show. Maybe they think "erectile dysfunction" is over the heads of most kids, but when a six year old asks you what that means...it has not gone over his/her head.....So, now, how do you answer?

Yes they should. I realize kids hear about these things at school and on regular tv programming but we don't need the commercials to add to it. I would prefer to not have to explain to my 1 year old (in a couple years) what erectile dysfuntion is. These should only be allowed to be aired like sexual movies late at night when kids are in bed.

Absolutely not. Start parenting and stop expecting t.v. and teachers to raise your kids.

Yea i think their should, it should be shown very late at night, so young children wont view them.
Some of these commercials are fairly hard to explain to a 6 year old, so yes.
