I just unplug my CPU fan and wait a few seconds.
Of course, that is in my motherboard and is OS-independent.
It is also rather stupid to do... but it DOES make the computer beep!
If you mean you want a theme them try different themes by downloading them by yahoogling themes XP
Go to control panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices. On the Volume tab, make sure Mute is not checked. On the Sounds tab make sure there is a sound specified for Default Beep.
