maybe. but if i ask and that's how they feel why would be a problem to tell me without beating around the bush? i think everybody only wants committment at certain times and with the right people/person.

Well, you are with someone who has a character flaw or no communication skills if he cannot tell you what he wants in a relationship. Bottom line, if he beats around the bush he doesn't know what you want to hear, or he knows what you want but doesn't want the same thing. He's not a keeper.
