I HAVE A 1986 FORD F-150 XL SUPERCAB WITH A5.8L/351W 4 BARREL HOLLEY. IT IDLES GREAT. IN PARK I CAN REV THE MOTOR &IT DOES FINE. WHEN I PUT IT IN DRIVE &EASE INTO THE GAS IT DOES FINE. BUT,IF I ACCELERATE TOO HARD IT POPS LIKE ITS BACKFIRING.WHATS WRONG?

Sounds like the carb needs rebuilding.
