  • Hey man I am broke as hell, do you have that 10 you owe me? I got bills to pay.
  • B***H give me my money...Im broke! LOL..j/k. One of my friends still owes me $50 and i still cant figure out a way to ask him for the money. Ha
  • They didn't forget. They just don't want to pay up. Send an email or text. Try the nice approach first of all and then take it from there
  • I text and let them know that i helped them when they were broke that they need to repay the favor by giving back the money i lent and now need back. its worked well so far
  • Just ask them. Why do people always feel ashamed to ask for money that is owed them. The person who should be ashamed is the one who hasn't paid it back.
  • I usually start asking nicely...Hey sorry to bother you but I'm in a bit of a tight spot right now and I was wondering if you had any of that money you had borrowed from me...that gives them a chance to claim they forgot about it and pay you back...if that doesn't work you esclate until you find something that will just always make sure your reaction is worth....I'd never beat someone over 10 bucks but a couple of hundred...sh*t I'm going to there house and pushing the issue but for me personally it would be more about the principal then the money...
  • just remind the person it may be that the person might have forgotton to pay you.
  • i don't ....i just never loan to them again...
  • I ask them directly and you should do that. After all it's your money. Make sure not to lend them again.
  • Just begin to talk to them casually and then while you're talking, just say "oh yeah, you know that money you borrwed- I was wondering when you could pay me back?". Hopefully they'll understand it is your money!
  • Say in a jokingly way, ''Hey you still owe me bloody money, when am i getting it back?'' Thats what I do all the time =D
  • I don't... I never recall money I lend. I treat it as a gift, with the possibility of it being returned otherwise it has the power to damage relationships. Are you asking generally, or for advice? If the latter, perhaps just bring it up casually and say that you would appreciate the money back if they have it. Straight, not beating around the bush, but friendly.

  • Personally, I find HUMOR to be the key. Ask them about it in a joking manner, this will serve three purposes: 1. Show there's no hard feelings about it (In case the person HONESTLY forgot to repay the money); 2. Keep the person from going on the defense (If there's a legitimate reason for the person to not repay the loan, he/she would be more prone to admit it); 3. Last, but not least, get your loot!
