You're reading My 1990 chevy pickup is blowing white smoke out the tail pipe there is no water in the oil but there is a little comming out the tail pipe it does not overheat.

blown head gasket would have water in the oil, creating a gray sludge and it would also overheat, along with a loss of water in radiator. It really wouldn't run very long without seizing.
