MOOT QUESTION: IN THE PAST, WHEN QUALIFYING WAS RAINED OUT AND THEY WOULD START BY THE POINT STANDINGS, 1st PLACE WOULD START FROM THE POLE. DID THIS COUNT AS A "POLE" AND GET THEM INTO THE OLD BUSCH CLASH RACE @ DAYTONA?

How will bailing out GM effect the NASCAR season in 2009? Do you think that there will be sponsorship available to the teams as usual and do you think it should be? Giving borrowed money to racing seems wrong at this point. These are hard times.
