maybe the car is missing (the fireing order is possible incorrect)
Are you applying the brakes when slowing to turn or stopped. Just maybe there is a vacuum leak at the master cylinder. A vacuum leak will cause these symptoms. If you raise the hood and hear a hissing sound, like air leaking you may have a leak that would be simple to fix.
My 01' altima had the same problem at around 83k miles. It turned out to be a problem with the intake manifold (whatever that is. It cost $500 to repair. Did you get it fixed yet? Also, did your check engine light come on when this happened?

You're reading 2000 Nissan Altima, idles rough and wants to stall when slowing to turn or when stopped. runs good on open road and no hesitation when taking off. Had new plugs installed and used fuel injector cleaner thinking the injectors were clogged. 83,000 mi on car
