These kind of services are good to sell things but Ebay,Craiglist and other such services are not good enough to buy from as I don't like dealing with people in such fashion. Amazon and the general high street sites are prefered by me as not only am I covered by laws and rights. I'm not dealing with rogues and unknown or dubious payment sites.

I once had some negotiations on the price of a second hand item somebody wanted to sell on the craigslist.
As I could not convince the seller that the price quoted was higher than that of a brand new piece, I did not buy.
Since then I have not been looking at the craigslist at all.

I buy and sell stuff from Craiglist all the time - sold my old furniture and computer this summer.
Bought a brand new Nintendo Wii and PS3 so far. Very happy, but of course buyer beware.
