How did Brandon Lee die?

Brandon Lee was shot and killed while filming the movie The Crow, when an old bullet lodged in the barrel of the gun was propelled by the firing of a blank during the scene in which Lee's character Eric Draven is shot by an armed gang. The shot of Brandon Lee getting hit with the bullet was destroyed as part of the legal settlement, and the shot of the gun firing the bullet that killed him was not used in the movie, although some urban myths claim it was.

The shooting was ruled an accident, though many fans suspected foul play. The deaths of father and son, 20 years apart, were both suspicious.

Lee was buried next to his father in Lake View Cemetery, Capitol Hill, Seattle, Washington.

On March 31, 1993, while making The Crow, the crew filmed a scene in which Lee's character walked into his apartment and discovered his girlfriend being raped by thugs. Actor Michael Massee, who played one of the film's villains, was supposed to fire a gun at Lee as he walked into his apartment with groceries.

Because the movie's second unit team was running behind schedule, it was decided that dummy cartridges (cartridges that outwardly appear to be functional, but contain no gunpowder) would be made from real cartridges. A cartridge with only a primer and a bullet was fired in the pistol prior to the scene. It caused a squib load, in which the primer provided enough force to push the bullet out of the cartridge and into the barrel of the revolver, where it became stuck.

The malfunction went unnoticed by the crew, and the same gun was used again later to shoot the death scene, having been re-loaded with blanks. Nevertheless, the squib load was still lodged in the barrel, and was propelled by the blank cartridge's explosion out of the barrel and into Lee's body. Although the bullet was traveling much more slowly than a normally fired bullet would be, the bullet's large size and the extremely short firing distance made it powerful enough to fatally wound Lee.

When the blank was fired, the bullet shot out and hit Lee in the abdomen and lodged in his spine. He fell down instantly and the director shouted "Cut!", but Lee did not respond. The cast and crew filming rushed to him and noticed he was wounded. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, Lee’s heart had stopped once on the set and once in the ambulance on the way. Following a six hour operation to remove the bullet and despite being given 60 pints (28 Liters) of blood, Lee was pronounced dead at 1:30pm on March 31, 1993.

The shot of the bullet being fired is not in the movie. However, during the death scene right after he gets stabbed; when you see the 2 shots of another actor and Funboy firing the gun at 2 different angles, the shot that Funboy took it the shot where the bullet got lodged in the gun. So they kept half of it in there, and in a sense, you do get to see the shot that killed him.

he was killed when a gun used in a scene before shot another kind of blank. This scene the gun was not fired at anyone. The person in charge of clearing the gun did not clear it properly and it left a "cap" from the shot in the barrel. Then he reloaded it with blanbks for the next scene, since blanks have more gunpowder in them than reguler bullets (make a louder sound) the force of the blank exploding the left over cap in the barrel into lee, killing him.

The Chinese mafia had something to do with Bruce Lee's death I'm thinking because they felt that he betrayed their culture by teaching Wing Chung to "the enemy". It was thought that at around the time or before the making of The Crow, Brandon Lee was looking into the death of his father. If the Mafia was involved then they could have easily made the death of Brandon happen. The million dollar questing is, was any of the Lee family threatened by the Chinese Mafia for investigating the death of Bruce Lee?

He got shot during the filming of a movie. They were supposed to pretend to shoot him with a gun and they didn't realise that it was loaded. Or something like that.

It's a Machiavelli principle, if there is a person who carries much influence(in this case Bruce Lee) who is a possible threat to a prince(a ruler). Then he will be killed, and so will his offspring, as they to will carry his influence, this theory can also be demonstrated with the Kennedy curse.
