Help answer this question below.
No, but I've often called mommy teacher. Best one I ever had.
one too many times...
I think I do remember calling Miss Watts, my 5th class teacher, mummy. I think all kids do at some stage...the brain works that way...
Oh, GOD no!
I've called one of my substitutes "mommy" then called her "grandma" by accident, she didn't even notice, it was a good thing she was focussing on talking to another student while denying me permission to go to the nurse's office because I got a really bad cut that was bleeding profusely.
no, but i've had a few of my gymnasts call me mommy .... and one that told me over and over that she wished i was her mom (her mom was a stark raving b**ch .... she lives with her dad now)
Yep! Ms Guniess, English teacher
Oh my gosh yes i have in the 5th grade i called my teacher mom!
No, I haven't.
I can't say that I have. My mom's been the best teacher to me and no one could possibly fill HER shoes.
Most kids do it at one time. I called my debate coach Mom once and never lived it down.
When I taught I was called Dad or Daddy weekly. I would always laugh at them and point.
This is one of the more confusing aspects about home schooling.
Have you ever called someone you were f**king "daddy"?
MILLIONS OF TIMES
ive called teachers mother dearest, but only in a sarcastic or joking way
yeah lol i called my first grade teacher grandpa... or was it dad... cant really remember but i dont remember calling a teacher mom
I might have, but I don't think so.
However, I did call my grandmother "Mom" and my mother "grandma" sometimes when I was little.
ONE time in 1st grade. I was so mortified I never did it again.
Once I called my male math teacher Grandma, cause I was dazing out into space and some how I ended up thinking about my grandmother. When I snapped back into reality, I needed to ask for help on a question and the first thing that slipped out of my mouth was "Grandma, can you help me?" I might as well have just asked my classmates to beat me up.
Last year, I used to call a few of my (easy-going) teachers Aunt or Uncle [attach first name] to see how they would react. They got a kick out of it... heheh.
no but i've called her grandma. wow it was really embarrassing.
yes, back in second grade
Yes and she had a smart a** remark back to me.
No. My teacher was a man. I called him "Daddy."
once, accedently,it just came out of no-where.
Because he was really cool my high school chorus teacher ended up with the nickname "Papa Y" and I think it was even before his wife was pregnant. Then the day he brought his dad in people actually called his dad Grandpa. But then the chorus bunch sort of ended up feeling like a family with the accompanist sort of like the mom, and she was quite a bit stricter in terms of behavior.
Yeah. It was either 3rd of 4th grade (I had the same teacher for both grades because it was a split class), and it went something like this: "Mom? Er, Dad! I mean, Grandma!... I'm sorry! Mrs. Reiter!" It was really awkward. Luckily, she was understanding, because she knew that I had been moved around alot lately, so my mind was all over the place!
Yeah, my mom, the teacher. She was a long-term substitute in my home-ec class. Still embarrassed the sh*t out of me! (I normally just tried not to call her by anything.)
Yup and as a teacher have been called Mom / Mommy / Mum / Mummy. Freudian slips all round.
I have called so many people mum its embarrassing!
I used to automatically end phone conversations with:
"Bye, Love you, Bye!"
That is not always appropriate. :x
No I haven't - That was such a long time ago WOW
No. But I had to sit in the corner once or twice for calling a teacher something else.
