We already have enough holidays. We've effectively removed God from our schools (to our detriment), and re-named our holidays so they are secular. That's enough.

Wouldn't doing so violate the "separation of church and state" provisions of our various laws and sacred documents?

Can you imagine how many days the schools would be closed, if EVERY religious holiday (such as "Hanamatsuri") were to be formally observed by every school district?
