Many are ill-mannered either because they are ignorant of what is proper/expected or because they don't care. If someone doesn't have great table manners for example..isn't sure what fork to use for which course, that isn't a big deal to me. But if someone is vulgar/insulting/rude/threatening that is not okay and the impression I get is very negative and I avoid such person in the future. Some people think it is bad manners or "not done" to wear white after Labor Day. I kinda think that is ridiculous. But then, that's just me! Happy Tuesday! :)

I sort of see good manners as being very nice wrapping paper with a pretty bow.
It is what you find IN the box that is the truest measure of a man or woman.
You can have impeccable manners, yet be stingy in spirit!
A person who is kind, not because of how they want to appear, but because in their heart being kind brings them great joy...they don't even let on to others what generous and thoughtful things they do, because they are not looking for attention or praise...yet act out of a desire to help others in many small or even large ways..without seeking praise...

I am scheduled for surgery Friday AM(carpel tunnel)otherwise doing well enough,,,,slow,nope,just about normal(except I want little to do with most of the opening page questions)
