  • Absolutely.
  • Of course. Anytime in your life you can.
  • Yes. In some religions you can even be baptized after you have already passed on.
  • Yes you can. It takes some preparation and having to go through the RCIA program (Right of Catholic Initiation for Adults) and then at the Easter Vigil you can be baptised into the Catholic faith.
  • As a Methodist I have seen many adults baptised. We have to speak to the Assistant Pastor who asks questions and such. I'm not sure just what questions, because I have not gone through it, but have been giving it quite a bit of thought and prayer. I'd like to be baptised this year but think I will wait till my daughter gets confirmed next year and we can be baptised at the same time. We both want immersion and our church does this once a year at our picnic. Otherwise we stand in front of the congregation and have holy water placed on our heads. Great question. In His grasp, <:))))<><
  • yes. It is only done if you have never been baptised in a church (meaning if you were baptised in the Methodist or Baptist Church, the RCC does not make you get rebaptised) usually it requires you to have completed classes, but not always.
  • Yes , but if you're large the priest is going to have a problem holding you in his arms.
  • Yes. In my opinion, I think it would be better to be baptised as an adult. By then, a person can make a decision for themselves, whether to make some sort of religious commitment, by being baptised, or not.
  • Yes, you can be baptized as an adult. The catholic church has a menas of doing that. It is the Rite of the Christian Initiation of Adults, known as the RCIA. The rite includes baptism of adults which may take place at the Easter Vigil.
  • G'day Anonymous, Thank you for your question. Yes they can as baptism plays an important part in Catholic theology. According to Wikipedia, "Catholics are baptized in the name (singular) of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit[29] — not three gods, but one God subsisting in three Persons. While sharing in the one divine essence, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct, not simply three "masks" or manifestations of one Person. The faith of the Church and of the individual Christian is based on a relationship with these three Persons of the one God." I have attached sources for your reference.
