I hadn't heard about this one. Thanks, Jerv. I still avoid Sony products since they created the original rootkit virus several years ago. Damn corporations run this country.

Anyone interested in the Sony rootkit virus can read the blog of Mark Russinovich, the hero who discovered it. (Mark founded Sysinternals, later bought by Microsoft)

Speaking of Big Brother monitoring our communications, including telephone and Internet, few people seem to know about the alleged Room 641A and Internet Monitoring:

Surprising even for big corporations! I could see WalMart doing that, but not Sears.
I always assume when someone is asking for anything personal from me, it's going to be marketed.
Keep the gubment out of our business. The gubment shouldn't have interfered with these nice corporate saints just trying to help us.
Thanks for the info, I'll keep that in mind!!
Wow that is scary for sure. Thanks

Some Citi bank online accounts were hacked recently. Is there no 100% secure site? Can anything be hacked if you're knowledgeable enough?

You're reading How many people are aware of *this* bit of spyware?

I know people paranoid enough about that sort of thing that they will not even agree to the EULA (End User Agreement License) for Windows.
